Travelling to Savai'i

You are more than welcome to take our cars to the beautiful Island of Savai'i.

The only way to get there is by ferries operated by 'Samoa Shipping Services'. There are 2 ferries operating simultaneously out of Upolu (Mulifanua Wharf) and Savai'i (Salelologa Wharf). These ferries operate 7 days a week and the timetable can vary with seasons and days of the week.

You will find on most days between Monday and Saturday the ferry departure times in both directions are:

0600, 0800, 1000, 1200, 1400, 1600

On Sunday's, the departure times in both directions are usually:

1300, 1500

Please note: These times are subject to change, and this is a general guide.

You can only book your tickets at the main office in Apia, or at Mulifanua Wharf and it is advised that you book as early as possible as ferry slots can book out quickly. Bookings for each month open approx 1 week before the start of the month, for example, bookings for November will be available for purchase approximately during the last week of October.

We can book on your behalf for an admin fee of WST $15.00. This fee is used to cover costs of travelling to the Apia office to purchase the tickets. Please note, we can not guarantee a booking can be purchased until we visit the office and confirm with the booking agents.
